Help Us Find Pepper

Original session notes and tape copying plans 1996
Original session notes - the foundation for our reconstructions

If you have any information about Piers “Charlie Pepper” Wildman, last known to be in the Bournemouth area, please reach out via email (god@hovercraft.band).

Every piece of information helps in our search to reconnect with our missing friend and bandmate.

These handwritten notes from May 1996 show the master tape details for our original sessions - the very recordings we’re now reconstructing through AI. Six songs, approximately 31 minutes total, copied at Fairview Music in Hull.

This is the musical DNA we’re working from.

Timeline of Pepper’s Journey:

  • 1996: Left Grimsby after band dissolution
  • 2000s: Spiritual journey to India
  • 2012: Brief Facebook reconnection, then silence
  • Present: Search continues

Whether you’re in the industry, press, or just a music lover, or you can put us in touch with Pepper, we’d love to hear from you.
